A round of applause for micro-weddings! Emily and Brian chose my micro-wedding package, which includes an engagement session and keepsake box, along with four hours of wedding day coverage. This was perfect for their August wedding at the Mennonite Heritage Village in Steinbach, Manitoba. It allowed for time for a first look, couple and wedding party photos, all on-site, a touching ceremony, family portraits, and finally their short dinner reception.
I love how gorgeous the greens in their decor, bridesmaid dresses, and flowers really highlighted the freshness of their chosen location and date - these two tied the knot on a beautiful Thursday afternoon. The 2022 wedding season was clogged with weddings from couples that had to reschedule due to COVID restrictions and so couples like Emily and Brian had to get creative. Weekday weddings were a necessity and I'm not mad about it.
