Downtown Winnipeg is bustling with patio goers these days, despite the heat wave that has claimed our Manitoba summer. I love planning sessions in the Exchange District, especially east of Main Street. With Waterfront Drive just a few steps away, there are so very many great options for backdrops. During Darius and Delyar’s engagement session I led them on a tour of some of my favourite spots. We reminisced about their first date in the Exchange and chatted about their new pup whom they lovingly named “Brand New” (as a child, Darius believed that a dog in one of his favourite books was called “Brand New” because that is how the pup was introduced).
We ended our session with a climb up a parkade where we found some lovely golden light. Summer nights in the city are made for love story sessions like this one!
