On a late September afternoon, Melanie and Zooey met me at the entrance of Assiniboine Forest to capture their engagement photos in the last hour of light of the day. They cuddled with their pup Mabel in the chilly autumn air, on a picnic blanket with their favourite drink handy. I love how the moody lighting of this session captured the depth of Melanie and Zooey’s connection. I also loved the inclusion of their Mabel, their adorable, tiny dog who weighed less than my camera!
