Fall in Manitoba is so very fleeting. It’s gorgeous, fiery colours burn out too quickly as unpredictable cold snaps and surprise snow storm. Fall in Clear Lake is particularly lovely and I was so excited when Rick and Renae contacted me to capture their wedding in one of their favourite places. Their outdoor ceremony was set to be backdropped by the stunning orange and yellows of a Clear Lake September, but because of the rain, Rick and Renae said “I do” in a cozy tent set up right next to the Nine Restaurant at the Clear Lake Golf Course.
Rick and Renae's dog River guided their ways down the aisle. Their bridal attendants wore black accented with maroon ties and florals. Renae wore her mother's wedding gown, which was transformed for her special day. The hearty bouquets Renae and her ladies carried, along with the boutonnieres donned by the guys, were created by Pat Vreeman.
After a rain filled day of wet wedding day portraits and ceremony, Renae and Rick celebrated with their friends and family at the Nine Restaurant, decorated by Lawrie with Party Professionals. The rest of the night was filled with food, shots and dancing.
