AVENGERS: ENDGAME & CAPTAIN MARVEL SPOILER WARNING! This spring Marvel at long last gave all of us geeked-out, female-identifying Marvel comic fans what we’ve been waiting for; an origin film featuring a female Avenger. And while we are not impressed that we will only see Black Widow get that same due honour several years after becoming an integral member of the team, and this after her death in End Game, Marvel comics has at long last given us a tiny crumb of the cake they’ve offered to our male-identifying counterparts. Best. Crumb. Ever. (But seriously, Marvel, get on with sharing this cake with more than just white, masculine geeks).
I fell in love with Captain Marvel just from the trailers and I knew that if we were going to do a themed-Marvel wedding shoot, she had to be a feature. We have Meghan from GeekChic Decor to thank for bringing the whole vision together. I’ll be breaking down what each vendor contributed to this shoot in the weeks to follow so check back in to hear more about the amazing creatives that brought this shoot to life.
