Savannah and Kyle's backyard, lakeside wedding was a joy to document. Their moving ceremony, backdropped by a cloudy sky and the calm of lake Winnipeg, was witnessed by their closest friends and family. The sun came out to give them a beautiful afternoon for wedding day photos followed by a delicious meal provided by Danny's Whole Hog. The decor and floral arrangements were homemade, with buckets of fresh herbs as centrepieces. As guests finished their supper and relaxed on the dock, dark storm clouds rolled in over the lake accompanied by a strong breeze. As everyone worked together to take down the tents and relocate the cake cutting into the garage, everyone was able to find shelter before the rain started to pour. Savannah and Kyle's friends stayed to finish their celebrating and to give them a first dance.
