The inspiration for this styled shoot was a colour palette of burnt/red-orange and mustard yellow and the concept of 1970s glamping. Allie, Kinloch Grove's owner and host offered the use of her camper trailer, which will be used as an office for the venue, along with its stunning clear tent and outdoor ceremony space surrounded by Matlock's poplar forest. I enlisted the help of Holly from Evergreen Weddings to help this vision come to life, utilizing rentals from The Vintage Rental Nest Company and Planned Perfectly.
Although originally I had dreamed of finding suits in the colour palette, I settled for creating more casual outfits from RW&Co. and accented the attired with handcrafted suspenders and feather boutonnieres from Charlie's Charmed. Ryan and Eddie, the owners and creators of Charlie's Charmed, acted as our models and I'm sure they were thankful that they were not wearing suits during this sweltering July day. Blessed used his barber magic to get our grooms ready the day before the styled shoot.
Sendsational Cards created an invitation suite and menu, coupled with red and orange macarons and white chocolate covered Oreos by Macs By Beth which we happily enjoyed after a very sweaty day of shooting.
